Beatles Stockings

About a year ago, I was surfing the web when I came across the most peculiar Beatle memorabilia.

Yup, I see it too. Beatle stockings.

The nylons were produced under license from The Beatles in 1963 by Ballito.


So my question is; did people actually wear these? If you look all over the internet, people are selling these in mint condition. So... they bought them, but didn't wear them. I can see that happening. If I were a crazy teenager in the 60s, I'd buy everything Beatles, useless or not.

Running price? Mint condition comes to about $250. ;)

Mmm... fashion... Who DOESN'T want the Beatles faces all over their legs?
